Crows are a very regular fixture in our lives, considering that the ravens usually have a lot of garbage to eat through. When I was growing up, I didn’t really think that they are rare, until I saw my Canadian cousin sister chasing the black bird ferociously to take pictures during her short stay. Needless to say, I find them too good as models to capture.

  1. A fascinating pattern in this photo.
I’m not a big crow fan myself (we had a lot where we used to live and they were noisy and quarrelsome) but frizz is right, they are very very clever. Here’s a post from my blog way back where a friend in Seattle put up a spirited defense of them:

    • very interesting piece, i must say…we have more here as mom’s building faces a fishermen’s colony.that way they are clever…they know which of thier baskets has the goodies!

  2. great capture 🙂

  3. By no means thought of it that way.

  4. […] Crows are a very standard feature in the city, and I find these winged-ravens very intriguing. Here the one in the foreground readies for take off! Let’s just hope that our hopes and dreams that take off too will have a safe and desirable landing!
