A quick trip to the market is really fun. Nothing gets better than fresh produce to come up with a wholesome meal. This nice vegetable vendor let me take pictures and was gracious enough to pose for me. I don’t know all the veggies on display; do correct me if I am wrong.

  1. Even the names of the vegetables are exotic — Ladies Fingers, Brinjal, Amaranth —
and the platters (banana leaves?) are quite wonderful.

    • Yup those are banana leaf platter, sewn with tree extracts too..Brinjals are egg plants and ladies fingers are Okra..make me wonder how different English language becomes when it travels far and wide!
