Summer is the most amazing time of the year that is captured by the lens. As the new year starts, and as Mother Nature gets into the festive moods, she wears her best colors of the year. As the entire world celebrates in style, Nature reminds us one the most important lessons in life: that every morning brings with it something new and exciting to watch out for!

Pretty pic and great reminder
this looks like autumn to me – what type of flower is this? gorgeous, with the bits of sunlight lingering. thank you.
Its called Gulmohur or wildfire here yi-ching lin. It starts budding just after winters, and once at its full bloom, u barely see any of the green leaves! But this one i took at the onset of rains
thank you for identifying this flower – so beautiful!
We offer it in prayers to Lord Ganesh, its found in abundance here!
hm…so far, my two Google attempts have come up with a red variety, and no close-ups.
It comes is quite a few variants, there is another popular one which is yellow, the white ones are quite rare
